Awaken Your Catholic Faith - Sometimes important things get away from us -- things like faith. Is this you? Too busy? Not been to church is a while? Children asking questions about faith that you are not sure how to answer? Looking for an opportunity to explore your faith? Awakening Faith may be just right for you. This six session series includes topics such as "Spirituality: What's the Buzz?" "Can I accept God's Mercy?" "Can the Mass Make My Life Meaningful?" and "The Church and Me." You can learn and ask questions .. all in a friendly and confidential setting with other Catholics. Bereavement Support Group "Safe Journey" - The Bereavement Group will meet every second and fourth Tuesday (except for some holidays) of the month from 12:00 noon to 1:30pm in the Pastoral Center behind church, first room adjacent to the kitchen, entrance on North side of Center. The group follows the holiday schedule observed by the schools and election days that may follow on Tuesdays. Children’s Grief Sessions - Children are often the forgotten mourners when someone in a family dies. Sometimes, a young person’s unresolved grief can affect his/her future relationships in a negative way. For this reason, a Children’s Grief Program will be held for children ages 6-12 and their parents or guardians at Prince of Peace located at 12500 Carmel Avenue NE in Albuquerque.
