Wonder of Myself - A special one day class for mothers and their adolescent daughters, ages 10 to 12, designed to emphasize the beauty and gift of human sexuality. Self esteem, friendships, peer pressure, the physical and emotional changes of adolescence, reproductive systems, the menstrual cycle, reproductive hygiene, decision-making and chastity will be discussed in a relaxed comfortable atmosphere. Bereavement Support Group "Safe Journey" - The Bereavement Group will meet every second and fourth Tuesday (except for some holidays) of the month from 12:00 noon to 1:30pm in the Pastoral Center behind church, first room adjacent to the kitchen, entrance on North side of Center. The group follows the holiday schedule observed by the schools and election days that may follow on Tuesdays. Children’s Grief Sessions - Children are often the forgotten mourners when someone in a family dies. Sometimes, a young person’s unresolved grief can affect his/her future relationships in a negative way. For this reason, a Children’s Grief Program will be held for children ages 6-12 and their parents or guardians at Prince of Peace located at 12500 Carmel Avenue NE in Albuquerque.
